# How Kommunity works

Every rule of the product, as it is coded. Nothing here is a promise about tokens: they can go to zero, and most do. This page says what the app does with a call, a trade, a fee and a week — and what it never does.

What it is

Kommunity is a trading companion for Telegram and Discord groups on Solana. Somebody posts a contract address in a group; the bot turns it into a card in about two seconds; the group trades from the card in one tap; every sell prints a receipt; every trade pays the group. A room is a group that lives in the app, with or without a chat behind it.

Kommunity never holds your keys, your tokens or your SOL. Every trade is signed by your own wallet, on your own phone. What the app holds is the record: who called what, who went in, what it printed, and where the fee went.

The roles

  • Visitor. Sees the front door, Explore, public room pages, receipts and the public ledger. Never who traded.
  • Member. Joined a room. Trades from its cards, holds positions, earns cashback on every fee and is in the room's weekly rewards. Anonymous by default: on every public surface a member is "a member" until they choose to be named.
  • Caller. May post calls in a room where only callers post, which is the default. Every call is scored on what the token did afterwards, and a caller earns the room's caller share on the trades their call produced. A member asks to become a caller from the room page; the admin answers.
  • Admin. Runs the room: rules, brand, members and roles, pausing trading, the weekly volume target. A room can have several admins.
  • Creator. The person who created the room. Alone decides the treasury address and how the room's money is split, and nobody else can change the creator's role. If that account is ever deleted, the remaining admins inherit both.

A call

  • A call is a contract address posted by someone the room allows to post. The card carries the token, its market cap, the risk flags Kommunity can read, and the caller's name and badges.
  • The room's rules decide what is accepted: callers only or everybody; a cooldown before the same token can be called again (300 seconds by default); a minimum market cap; whether the book is open. The rules are shown on the room page before anybody joins.
  • First call marks the earliest call on a token anywhere on Kommunity.
  • A call is tracked for 24 hours: the price is sampled from the moment it is posted, and the call closes a day later. From the samples come its return at five minutes, one hour, six hours and a day, its max multiple and its worst drawdown. Scoring reads only the samples, so a score can be recomputed from what was stored.
  • A call is a hit when it reached 1.3× (+30%) within its 24 hours. A caller's hit rate and median max multiple make their score; their dead share counts the calls that went to nothing.
  • Members in and first in are counted from confirmed buys through the card, never from the chat.
  • King of the hill is the room's best measured return of the week; when nothing has been measured yet, it is the call the most members went into, and the caption says which.
  • The multiple on a call describes the token, from the price at the call. The multiple on a receipt describes your trade. They are different numbers about different things, and the app never mixes them.

A trade

  • One tap from the card opens the trade screen, already priced, in the room's colours. The route comes from Jupiter, or from the pump.fun curve for a token still on it. Kommunity builds the transaction; your wallet signs it; nothing moves without your signature.
  • A reserve of 0.01 SOL is never spendable, plus the rent of any token account the trade has to open and the priority fee. The app checks this before you sign, and refuses rather than let a transaction fail on chain.
  • The app never shows a failure it cannot prove. A trade the network has not answered about is "still looking", with its signature and an explorer link from the second it was sent. Only the chain decides.
  • Every sell prints a receipt: the profit or loss in SOL, fees and slippage included; the multiple, which is what your sold tokens fetched against what they cost, so it can never contradict the line above it; the entry and exit market caps; the hold time; the fee rule; the caller and the room; the transaction signature, which anybody can check on chain. A loss prints with the same care as a gain.
  • Positions use average cost over your Kommunity trades. When the balance on chain does not match what those trades explain — you bought or sold elsewhere — the position says so, in words, and the app does not invent a number for what it did not see. Sync with the chain reads your balance and records what left outside Kommunity: the size and the cost basis come down in proportion, nothing is sold, and no PnL is made up for an exit the app never saw. Tokens that arrived from elsewhere have no cost basis here and stay untracked.
  • Exit capture: a token called in one of your rooms that you hold outside the app can still be sold from Kommunity in one tap.

The money

  • Every trade pays a 1% fee. Of that fee, 20% goes to the router, 10% comes back to you as cashback, 25% goes to Kommunity and 45% goes to the room.
  • The room's 45% is split by its creator. The caller of the call takes their share first — up to half of the room's part. What is left is split between the treasury, the cashback boost, the weekly draw and the best receipt, four shares that always add up to 100%. Every trade keeps the split that was in force when it happened; a change applies to the next trade, never to the ones already recorded.
  • The treasury is the creator's own wallet. It is paid every day from Kommunity's hot wallet, and every payout is listed on the room's treasury page with its transaction signature. Kommunity never controls that wallet.
  • A fee collected in the token it was bought with counts once it has been swept to SOL, which happens daily. Until then it shows as a trade and as nothing else: the app does not print a paper value for money that has not settled.
  • The caller share vests 24 hours after the call closes. A caller who sold before their followers does not get paid for that call: the share goes to the room's treasury instead. A share nobody claims for 90 days goes back to the room.
  • Cashback is 10% of your fee, on every trade, paid in the daily run once it crosses the minimum. An invite bonus can multiply it, up to five times, out of Kommunity's share.
  • The public ledger lists every fee collected, swept and paid, by day, for the whole platform.

The week

  • Weeks are ISO weeks in UTC, because money is. Settlement runs on Monday at 00:10 UTC; each room hears the results on its own Monday morning, in its own time zone, with its report card at 09:00.
  • Cashback boost: shared among everybody who traded through the room that week, in proportion to what they traded. A rebate, not a prize.
  • Weekly draw: one entry per eligible member, not weighted by volume. The winner is the member at index sha256 of "blockhash:roomId:weekStart", modulo the number of entrants, using the first Solana block produced at or after the end of the week. The proof — slot, blockhash, seed, entrants, index — is published on the room's rewards page, and anybody can recompute it. The draw stays off until the creator has read and acknowledged the lottery notice.
  • Best receipt: the confirmed sell with the highest multiple of the week; ties go to the earliest exit.
  • What never counts: the caller's own trades on their own call, and round trips a wallet closed inside ten minutes.
  • When nothing can be paid — nobody eligible, a winner without a wallet, a pool below the minimum, a paused room — the pool is carried into the next week. It is the members' money; it is never swept to the treasury and never kept by Kommunity.
  • The league between rooms opens once three rooms are active. Its bonus comes from Kommunity's own share, capped at 0.5 SOL a week, and goes to the winning room's treasury.

Badges

  • 10× proven: closed calls that reached 10× within 24 hours.
  • Green streak: closed calls in a row, most recent first, that went up at least 30% within 24 hours.
  • Diamond hands: closed calls in a row where the caller did not sell before the room.
  • Diamond hands, proven: closed calls that went under the call price, then printed 2×, with the caller still in.
  • Paper hands: closed calls the caller sold under 2× that then printed it.
  • First call: calls that were the earliest on their token, anywhere.
  • Skin in the game: calls the caller backed with their own confirmed buy within ten minutes.

Streaks run backwards from the most recent closed call, because a streak is a claim about now. A streak of one is never shown.

The numbers

Every figure on a caller's page, a room's history and the ledger comes from the same definitions, so two screens never disagree about the same call.

  • A call is closed 24 hours after it was posted. Only closed calls count in a hit rate, a dead share or a median.
  • A hit is a call that reached +30% within those 24 hours. Dead means the pool held under $5K of liquidity at the 24-hour mark.
  • The ranking counts the last 30 days, at most five calls a day per caller, and becomes firm at ten counted calls. A caller's track record counts every call they ever made, under the same rules, so the two can differ and the page says which is which.
  • Rank is the caller's place in the global ranking frozen each Monday; the track record keeps the best one and how many weeks they were ranked at all.
  • What followers made is the realised PnL of the members who bought through the caller's calls, on what they put in. A member who reached the same token through two calls is split between them in proportion to what each call brought.
  • A week runs Monday 00:00 UTC to Sunday 23:59 UTC, on every page, because that is when money settles.
  • A room's history counts volume (every confirmed lamport in), buyers (distinct members who bought that week), members in (people who bought through the week's calls), and what the fees did: treasury earned is what the room's share came to once the fees were swept to SOL, treasury paid is what has left for the treasury address, treasury pending is the difference. Unswept fees are counted as a number of trades and never valued.
  • The landing strip's in the pipe figures are the same idea, product-wide: owed to the treasuries, callers' shares still vesting, what sits in the pools, and how many trades' fees are not yet swept. Paid on Mondays.
  • Every history page has a JSON link at the bottom with the same numbers, so anybody can check them.
  • Beside every token, a row of chips reads its numbers in words: micro cap under $100K, small under $1M, mid under $10M, large above; thin liquidity when under 5% of the market cap sits in the pool, deep at 15% or more; minutes, hours, days or weeks old. A chip is only ever a reading of a number the page carries, so a missing number is a missing chip, never a guess.

Belonging

  • Every member has a seat number, from the order they joined. The first fifty carry the OG badge.
  • The wall of legends keeps the king of each closed week, frozen when the week closes.
  • A weekly volume target, set by the admin or proposed by the app from the last four weeks, with a bar and a badge when the room passes it. Nothing is paid against it.
  • Three rituals the room can count down to: the first call of the day, Monday's report card, Monday's draw.
  • Reactions on a call: four, one per member per call. No text, no threads.

Privacy and honesty

  • Members are anonymous by default. With the open book on, the room's own members — never the public — see who entered a call and at what price: by handle for members who chose to be named in their settings, as "a member" otherwise. What anybody holds is never shown to anyone.
  • The bot reads the contract address out of a message and nothing else.
  • Kommunity is not available in the United States, and nothing in it is investment advice.
  • The app is in beta, on Solana mainnet, with real money. Trade what you can afford to lose, and if something looks wrong, say so from the feedback control on any screen before trading again.
